I decided to start Jazzercise to get myself into shape for fencing. Fencing requires strong arms and legs. Thanks to Kristen's Jazzercise class, my legs are like rocks and my arms are toned, shapely and strong again. I love Kristen's class. She keeps the class dynamic, the music upbeat, and provides a variety of exercises. Thanks to the class, I am able to run up stairs, and enjoy it, wear sleeveless shirts because my arms are now toned and, I've lost a dress size, all this in only 3 months of working out in Jazzercise.

It doesn't matter what anybody says or what so-called "scientific evidence" they submit, the ONLY WAY to lose weight and keep it off is to BURN IT OFF! You can try all the Dexatrim pills you want and drink the weight loss protein shakes you want, but the bottom line is you MUST burn more calories than you eat to lose weight! Eat less, exercise more, and eat a wide variety of food. One of the best ways to burn off the fat and build muscle is JAZZERCISE. Why? Because the music you exercise to in a Jazzercise class motivates you to move and directs the focus of your attention to the music and not the exercising. It also helps with social interaction; everyone in the class is there for the same reason: to get fit. You can learn from, and inspire, others in your class, and they can get the same from you! Working out together is better than going it alone. I have an active volunteer life which is physically demanding. Jazzercise has helped me meet those demands by getting my body in better form and improving my reslilience.

After several years, actually two decades, I returned to Jazzercise and attended Kristen's class. I was convinced that I could possibly faint from exhaustion, trip over my own feet, or became nauseated with a 'cutsie' instructor. Fortunately, none of those things happened, so I continued! Kristen is a delightful instructor after a good day or bad day. She offers a variety of classes such as body sculpting with weights and balls and aerobics. She is easy to follow and if you still have trouble, it just doesn't matter. We are all there to improve our health and have fun. I sincerely look forward to Kristen's Jazzercise classes!
